Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c butter
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1/2 c sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 1/2 c cake flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/3 c milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0 for electric or 350 for gas.
    Use an electric mixer, beat butter and vanilla until light and creamy. Gradually add sugar and beat until light.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well each time.
    Stir in 1/2 of flour, powder and milk, beat until smooth.
    Add remaining flour, powder and milk until smooth.
    Spread into a prepared pan and bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
