Marinara Sauce(Tomato Sauce) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. spaghetti or linguine
    1/2 c. olive oil
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    4 whole packed tomatoes, coarsely chopped, but not drained
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. fresh parsley, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
    Heat olive oil in a pan.
    Saute garlic until brown, stirring frequently.
    Remove from heat (to avoid splashing).
    Add tomatoes. Return to heat.
    Add tomato paste, 2/3 cup water, salt, pepper and sugar.
    Stir well.
    Add fresh parsley.
    Cook over very low heat for 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Add more parsley for garnish.
    Serve cheese with this if you like.
