Overnight Scalloped Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1 can condensed cream of celery soup
    2 to 2 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 lb. process American cheese, cubed *
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. chicken, chopped **
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni (uncooked)
    1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs ***
    1 (2 oz.) can mushrooms (optional)
    3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped (optional)
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine soups, milk and cheese.
    Add chicken, uncooked macaroni, onion, mushrooms and chopped eggs.
    Stir in 1/4 cup melted butter.
    Put in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours.
    Toss bread crumbs with remaining butter.
    Sprinkle over casserole.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0
    for 1 hour or until bubbly and golden brown.
