Perfect Pie Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 egg whites
    1/2 c. boiling water
    6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Moisten cornstarch with a little water.
    Add boiling water. Cook until clear.
    Cool.
    Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.
    Add sugar, one tablespoon at a time.
    Beat in gradually to cooled cornstarch mixture.
    Spread on pie.
    Put in a 375\u00b0 oven to brown.
    Cool.
