Capt. Luck'S Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. potatoes
1 c. carrots
1/2 c. onions
1/2 tsp. celery salt
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. tomatoes
1 1/2 pt. clams
Preparation

Dice potatoes, carrots and onions and add to several strips of salt pork which has been dried out (fried slowly) in a black iron pot.
Season and add water to cover.
Bring to boil (cook slowly until the potatoes and carrots are almost done).
Then add the ground up clams and tomatoes.
The chowder can simmer for a long time.
It is very good reheated.
