Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. strawberries
1/3 c. water
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
pinch of salt
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. butter
1 baked pie shell
Preparation

Take 1 cup of perfect berries and spread on bottom of baked shell.
Mash remainder of quart in pan.
Add water.
Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt and mix with berries.
Cook the mixture until clear and cooling, then add lemon and butter.
Pour into baked shell.
Cool.
Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip before serving.
