Grandma'S Creamed Butter Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. half and half (milk can be substituted)
    4 c. cooked butter beans (fresh)
Preparation
    Melt butter and blend in flour and seasonings.
    Stir in half and half or milk and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
    Add beans and heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
