Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    2 pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    12 oz. whipped topping
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix as directed on package and cook in two layers;
    cool.
    Place one layer in large bowl, spoon 1 package thawed
    strawberries
    and 1/2 can of pineapple (juice and all) over cake layer.
    Top with 1/2 of whipped topping.\tAdd second layer
    and\trepeat\tthe layering of remaining strawberries and 1/2 can
    pineapple,
    with
    whipped topping last.
    Refrigerate until ready to serve.
    Spoon out, serving in individual bowls.
