Herbed Cherry Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. red or yellow cherry tomatoes
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    freshly ground pepper
    1/4 c. finely chopped fresh basil leaves
Preparation
    Bring large pot of water to boil.
    Drop in tomatoes, cover and remove from heat.
    Let set for 1 minute.
    Gently lift out tomatoes and peel off all skins.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Can be prepared to this point and refrigerated.
