Ingredients

2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate morsels (semi-sweet)
Preparation

Beat egg whites stiff.
Add sugar gradually and continue to beat.
Add vanilla.
Fold in nuts and chocolate morsels.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Drop cookies by teaspoonfuls on brown paper on the cookie sheet.
Cut oven off when cookies are put in.
Let stay overnight or at least 5 hours; do not open door during this time. If you omit chocolate morsels and use crushed, sliced almonds, the cookie will be good for those on low-fat diets.
