Ingredients

4 c. flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
3/4 lb. butter or margarine
pinch of salt
1 jar raspberry preserves (24 to 36 oz.)
Preparation

Blend first four ingredients with hands to crumb stage. Spread half of the crumb mixture on a large cookie sheet and press down.
Spread raspberry preserves carefully and evenly over the crumb mixture.
Then sprinkle the rest of the crumb mixture over the top.
Press down gently.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Cut in small squares when cool.
Makes about 36 squares or more if cut smaller.
