Spiced Pineapple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    6 to 8 whole cloves
    1 (4-inch) cinnamon stick
Preparation
    Drain syrup from pineapple. To 3/4 cup syrup, add next 5 ingredients.
    Heat 10 minutes. Add pineapple and bring to a boil. Refrigerate.
    To serve, drain pineapple. Serve cold with meats.
