Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter, softened
    2 1/4 c. plain flour
    1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Blend all ingredients together until a soft dough forms. Pat into a 9-inch round pan and prick with a fork every 1/2-inch. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Dredge with a dessert spoon of sugar. Cut while still warm. Enjoy.
