Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken, cut into pieces
    1 large green pepper
    1 medium onion
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. tomato paste
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    Heat oil in skillet.
    Add chicken, pepper and onion.
    Cook; stir until chicken is lightly browned.
    Stir in tomatoes, paste, water, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper; bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
    Serves 4.
