Onion-Cheese Supper Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. onions, chopped
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. Bisquick
    1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar, grated
    1 Tbsp. poppy seed
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Saute onions in 1 tablespoon butter. Combine egg and milk.
    Add Bisquick and stir until blended.
    Add onion and 1 cup of the cheese.
    Spread in greased 8-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle top with remainder of cheese, poppy seed and drizzle melted butter over all.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
    Do not overcook.
