Beer Fried Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. filleted fish
    1 c. warm beer
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. pepper or to taste
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except fish, together.
    Let stand 30 minutes at room temperature.
    Whisk the mixture until frothy and dip fish in batter.
    Heat oil in the pan until hot.
    Fry fish about 1 minute on each side.
