Aunt Betty'S Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. shortening or stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. milk or cream
Preparation
    Cream
    shortening and sugar.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add sifted
    dry
    ingredients with milk or cream.
    Roll out on floured wax
    paper
    to
    1/4-inch thick.
    Cut with any desired cookie cutters.
    Place on lightly greased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until edges just start to turn brown, 12 minutes.
