German Chocolate Caramel Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels (about 40)
    5 Tbsp. canned milk
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. melted margarine
    5 Tbsp. canned milk
    1 c. nut meats, chopped
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits (I like the milk chocolate bits)
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. bread flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
    Add flour mixture to butter and sugar along with eggs, milk and vanilla; mix well.
    Chill dough about one hour.
    Roll very thin and use a tin can to cut out cookie shapes.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet at 425\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Sprinkle baked cookie with a little sugar.
    Yields 6 to 7 dozen.
