Creamed Peas And New Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 new potatoes, quartered or 24 small new potatoes
    4 c. shelled fresh peas
    2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. sugar
    3 green onions, chopped
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 c. light cream
Preparation
    Steam new potatoes about 20 minutes or until fork-tender. Combine peas, salt and sugar in saucepan with water to cover. Cook, uncovered, 5 to 8 minutes or until tender.
    Drain. Return peas to pan. Add butter and green onions to peas.
    Heat until butter melts.
    Add potatoes. Add pepper and cream.
    Heat through, but do not cook.
