Salmon Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pink salmon
    2/3 c. crackers or enough to hold patties together
    1 finely chopped medium onion
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    vegetable oil
    1 egg
Preparation
    Take bone out of salmon. In large mixing bowl, combine salmon, crackers, egg, onion, salt and pepper; mix well. Mixture will be moist. Shape into patties. In deep skillet, fry at 350 degrees in 1/2 inch of vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides.
