Barbecued Short Ribs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. beef short ribs, cut into serving pieces
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. catsup
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 lemon, sliced
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. water
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. powdered thyme
Preparation
-
Brown meat in shortening in skillet.
Drain off fat.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cover and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours until tender.
