Fresh Apple Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. whole wheat flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    1/2 c. sugar (brown or white or 3 Tbsp. honey)
    1/3 c. skim milk
    1 egg, lightly beaten or egg substitute
    1 c. shredded unpeeled apple
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients. Add margarine, sugar, milk, egg and apple.
    Stir just to moisten (batter should look lumpy).
    Fill greased muffin tins about 2/3 full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
    Yields 10 to 11 muffins.
