Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oleo
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. molasses
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    5 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream shortening with sugar; add egg, molasses and vinegar. Beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Stir in.
    Chill overnight. Roll out dough; cut in shapes.
    Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 5 to 6 minutes.
    Cool on rack.
    Makes 8 dozen.
