Frances Sonitzky'S Cocoa Fudge Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. nonfat milk
    2 well-beaten egg whites
Preparation
    Sift the flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa and sugar together into a mixing bowl.
    Add oil and milk and beat at a medium speed until smooth.
    Fold the egg whites and nuts into the batter and pour it into a greased 9-inch square Pyrex cake pan.
    Bake the brownies in a preheated slow oven (325\u00b0) for 30 minutes or until firm to the touch.
    Cut the brownies into 4-inch squares while warm but not hot.
