Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream 1/2 cup butter with sugar.
    Add eggs and beat until light.
    Add vanilla.
    Melt remaining butter with chocolate; cool and beat into first mixture.
    Add flour, salt and nuts.
    Mix well and pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased and floured pan.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for about 45 minutes.
    Cool in pan and cut into small squares.
    Makes 5 dozen.
