Christmas Cheesecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. gingersnap crumbs
    1 1/3 c. slivered almonds, toasted and divided
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/3 c. melted butter
    4 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    4 eggs
    1 c. canned pumpkin, mashed
    1/4 c. brandy
    3 Tbsp. half and half cream
    16 oz. sour cream
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. brandy
    green candied cherry wedges
Preparation
    Combine gingersnaps, 1/3 cup almonds and cinnamon.
    Add butter; blend well.
    Press evenly into bottom of 10-inch spring-form pan.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Cool completely.
