Baby Ruth Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 1/2 c. peanut butter
    1 c. sugar
    4 c. cornflakes
    1 1/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 Tbsp. Crisco
Preparation
    Bring syrup and sugar to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Mix in peanut butter and cornflakes.
    Press in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Melt chips and Crisco in microwave.
    When melted, spread over mixture in pan.
    Let cool and cut into desired size bars.
    Butter pan.
