Moussaka Lolo Casserole * - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, peeled, thinly sliced and covered with ice cold water
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    sprinkling of garlic powder
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce or undiluted tomato soup
    salt and pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried mint
    1/8 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. finely chopped parsley or 2 Tbsp. dried parsley
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    2 large eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan (I have substituted about 1 1/4-inch chunk processed cheese spread, then sprinkled grated Parmesan on top)
Preparation
    Cook beef and onion slowly in a skillet until the meat loses its red color.
    Add tomato sauce, teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, mint, cinnamon, parsley and garlic powder.
    Cover; simmer 5 minutes.
