Chicken Croquettes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. grated onion
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of paprika
    dash of nutmeg
    dash of pepper
    1 1/2 c. finely diced, cooked chicken
    3/4 c. fine crumbs (crackers or dry bread)
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Melt butter; blend in flour.
    Add milk and chicken broth. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles.
    Cook and stir 1 minute.
    Add parsley, lemon juice, onion, salt and dash each of paprika, nutmeg and pepper.
    Cool.
    Add 1 1/2 cups finely diced chicken; salt to taste.
    Chill thoroughly.
