Pineapple Cheddar Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    4 crisply cooked bacon slices, crumbled
    1 Tbsp. finely chopped green onion
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    3/4 c. Quaker 100% natural cereal, coarsely crushed or any granola cereal
    chopped nuts
Preparation
    Drain pineapple well, reserving 1 tablespoon juice.
    Beat together cream cheese, Cheddar cheese and pineapple juice.
    Add pineapple, bacon, onion, soy sauce and salt; mix well.
    Chill several hours or until firm.
    Shape to form 1 large ball or 2 small balls.*
    Chill.
    Just before serving, roll cheese ball in cereal, coating well.
    Serve with unsalted crackers, apple slices or raw vegetables, as desired.
    Makes about 12 servings.
