Biscuit Anise Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs (not beaten)
    1/4 lb. butter or margarine
    3 level tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. Anisette liquor
    1/2 c. sliced almonds
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients on bread board.
    Make hole in center. Add melted butter, eggs, flavorings and nuts.
    Knead together until silky consistency.
    Fit to 2 (12 x 4-inch) well-greased oblong pans.
    Cook in preheated 375\u00b0 oven until golden brown. Slice while hot into slices 1/2-inch wide and 4-inches long. Serve cool.
