Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked or canned tomatoes
    3 or 4 slices toast, cut in cubes
    1 tsp. grated onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
Preparation
    Alternate tomatoes and toast cubes in greased 1-quart casserole, having toast for top layer.
    Season with grated onion, salt and pepper.
    Pour butter over all.
    Bake in moderate oven (375\u00b0) until heated through, about 20 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
