Strawberry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. strawberry jelly
    vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Thaw strawberries according to package directions.
    Crush strawberries.
    In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch; stir in strawberries and jelly.
    Bring to boiling.
    Cook and stir until slightly thickened.
    Strain; cool.
    Serve over ice cream. Cover; chill any remaining sauce.
    Serves 4 to 6.
