Orange Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large whole eggs
    1 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/3 c. buttermilk
    4 c. flour
    1 c. (chopped) pecans
    1 pkg. dates, chopped
    2 Tbsp. orange peel (grated)
    1 Tbsp. orange flavoring
Preparation
    Mix sugar and
    Crisco.\tAdd
    eggs, beaten.
    Add soda to buttermilk.
    Mix alternately
    with flour.
    Bake in tube pan at 275\u00b0 or 2 hours or longer.
