Evergreen Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pt. lime sherbet
    12 (7 oz.) bottles 7-Up
Preparation
    Spoon three pints of sherbet into punch bowl.
    Let stand about 5 minutes.
    Pour in chilled 7-Up slowly, stirring to combine with sherbet.
    Float scoopfuls of remaining sherbet on top of punch. Serves 36.
