Broccoli Corn Bread - cooking recipe

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, thawed
1 box Jiffy corn bread mix
3 eggs, beaten
1 medium onion, chopped
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation

Press broccoli between paper towels to remove excess water. Combine corn bread mix, eggs, chopped onion, cheese, butter and seasonings.
Stir well.
Stir in broccoli.\tPour mixture in greased 8-inch square pan.\tBake at 375\u00b0 for 25-30 minutes or 'til brown.
Serves 9.
