Cornstarch Paste - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. light Karo syrup
    1 tsp. white vinegar
    oil of wintergreen
Preparation
    Mix 3/4 cup water, Karo syrup and white vinegar together in a saucepan and bring mixture to boil.
    Stir constantly to avoid lumps.
    If a few drops of oil of wintergreen are added, this paste will be good for about 2 months.
    Let mixture stand overnight before use.
