Spaghetti Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. spaghetti
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 lb. ground beef or sausage or 1/2 lb. each
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Cook spaghetti according to package.
    Drain (should have about 3 1/4 cups spaghetti).
    Stir butter into hot spaghetti.
    Stir in Parmesan cheese and eggs.
    Form mixture into a crust in a buttered 10-inch pie plate.
    In skillet, cook ground beef, sausage, onion and green pepper until tender.
    Drain off fat.
    Stir in tomatoes, paste, sugar and garlic salt.
    Heat well until mixture cooks down to a thick consistency.
    Spread cottage cheese over bottom of spaghetti crust.
    Fill pie plate with meat mixture.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Cover with Mozzarella cheese and bake for 5 minutes.
    Cool and slice like a pie.
