Cheddar Raisin Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. butter
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk
3/4 c. raisins
Preparation

Sift the flour with baking powder and salt.
Cut in butter until particles are small.
Stir in cheese.
Combine egg and milk. Add to dry mixture, stirring only until flour is moistened.
Fold in raisins.
Spoon into well-greased muffin tins.
Fill about 2/3 full.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve hot.
Makes 12 muffins.
