Cherry Cola Soda Blender Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. cold cola
1/2 c. sugar
1 pt. pitted dark sweet cherries
4 large scoops vanilla ice cream

Preparation

Blend the cola beverage and sugar into an electric blender container.
Cover and turn on motor.
Add cherries and then ice cream.
Blend until thick and smooth.
Divide mixture among 8 tall glasses.
Fill with cola beverage.
Give a quick stir.
Top each with a scoop of ice cream.
