Snow Whirl Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 egg whites, unbeaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
5 Tbsp. cold water
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar or 1 tsp. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Put egg whites, sugar, water and cream of tartar or corn syrup in top of double boiler, mixing thoroughly.
Place over rapidly boiling water and beat constantly with beater until mixture will hold a peak (7 minutes). Remove from boiling water.
Add vanilla and beat until cool and thick enough to spread.
Makes enough frosting for tops and sides of two 9-inch layers.
