Fat-Free Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. skim milk
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. Grape-Nuts cereal (optional)
Preparation
    Mix cocoa, salt and sugar.
    Add milk and corn syrup.
    Boil this mixture until it forms a soft ball in cold water.
    Remove from heat and beat with an electric hand mixer until it starts to thicken.
    (Do not overbeat.)
    Stir in vanilla and Grape-Nuts. Spray a 9-inch glass dish with nonfat cooking spray.
    Pour fudge into dish and let harden.
    Cut in squares when set.
    Yield:
    30 to 36 pieces.
