Sausage-Stuffed Acorn Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium acorn squash
    salt
    1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 small onion, chopped
    3/4 c. breadcrumbs
Preparation
    Cut squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds.
    Place, cut side down, in shallow baking dish; add 1/2 inch boiling water.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Turn, cut side up; sprinkle with salt and set aside.
    Cook sausage and onion until browned, stirring to crumble meat; drain well.
    Stir in breadcrumbs; spoon into squash cavities.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Serves 4.
