Marble Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. cake flour
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites

Preparation

Sift first 4 ingredients into bowl.
Make a well and add shortening, milk and vanilla.
Beat well until creamy.
Stir in stiffly beaten egg whites.
