Lucy'S Oven Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer, cut up
    1 egg, beaten
    salt (optional)
    pepper to taste
    potato flakes
    2 Tbsp. oil or bacon drippings
Preparation
    Salt and pepper chicken to taste.
    Dip chicken in beaten egg; roll in potato flakes.
    Place in oil or drippings (use iron skillet).
    Cover with foil.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Turn chicken and bake 20 to 30 minutes longer.
