Italian Tortellini Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sausage
    2 garlic cloves, sliced
    1 c. coarsely chopped onion
    5 c. beef broth
    1 c. water
    2 c. tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 tsp. basil and oregano
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    8 oz. meat or cheese filled tortellini
    1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    3 Tbsp. parsley
    1 medium green pepper
Preparation
    Remove casing from sausage; brown with onion and garlic.
    Add next 5 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes. Skim fat from soup. Add remaining ingredients; simmer, covered, for additional 35 to 40 minutes.
