Devil Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. dill pickles
1 box or can pickling spice
2 heads garlic, peeled
5 lb. sugar
2 small bottles Tabasco
16 oz. tarragon vinegar
Preparation

Slice pickles.
Layer with ice in ice chest or crock.
Let set one day.
Drain.
Layer pickles, spices, garlic and sugar.
Pour Tabasco and vinegar over layers.
Cover and let set for three days, stirring once a day.
Pack into jars.
No processing necessary.
