Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    5 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. cream
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
    Add cream, water, butter and vanilla.
    Stir.
    Add coconut.
    Beat egg yolks.
    Add to mixture.
    Cook over medium heat in heavy saucepan.
    Pour into cooked pie shell.
    Save egg whites for meringue.
