Grandma'S Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick oats
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 stick butter
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Pour water over oats; set aside.
    Sift salt, cinnamon, soda and flour together.
    Cream butter, sugars and eggs.
    Mix in oat mixture and flour mixture alternating until well mixed; then add nuts.
    Bake in a 9 x 13-inch oblong pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
