Doris' Toffee Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 egg yolk
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    2/3 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolk.
    Add flour and vanilla and blend well.
    Spread dough into greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
